A screenshot is an image of the data displayed on the screen of your personal computer. In this article we will show you different ways to take a screenshot on Windows computer.

1. PrtSc

Print Screen, it is used to take screenshot easily by just pressing a single key from your keyboard.

Step 1: Open the tab or window where you want to take the screenshot.

Step 2: Press “PrtSc” key on your keyboard.

Step 3: Click on window logo and type Paint, Open it.

Step 4: After Paint is open, Press “Ctrl” + “v”.

Step 5: Save the image in png format and it’s done.

This is the easiest way to take screenshots.

2. Snipping Tool

Snipping tool saves your time while taking screenshots, it is the most effective screenshot tool, personally i too use this tool. Here are the steps on how to use this to take screenshot in your personal computer.

Step 1: Open the tab or window where you want to take the screenshot.

Step 2: Go to windows logo, search for snipping tool.

Step 3: Click on Snipping tool, it will open like this.

Step 4: Click on “New”. A window like this will appear.

Step 5: Drag the area you want to corp.

Step 6: Click the save icon from the above menu and you are done.
